Type of call: Scam or Fraud Report by Anonym 3 months ago
trying to blackmail me I received a message from an unknown person on a dating application. The conversation moved to a video call where the other person requested me to also join on video and record content. During this interaction the other person recorded a video call without my consent. The person also obtained access to my Instagram account details and screenshots of my followers and following list. Following the call the person started demanding money and threatened to share the recorded video and my personal contacts on Instagram if I did not pay. I have not made any payment. I am submitting this complaint to report the threat of extortion and misuse of my personal data and to request necessary action against the suspect account and prevention of further harassment.
